All ability levels are welcome to join our Myoko experience. From beginner to advanced riders, you will find suitable terrain for your level. For beginners with some experience, Myoko is a great place to practice your turns as it is generally less crowded and have wider runs. For intermediate to advanced riders looking to explore new terrain, Myoko is a dream come true for you.

For complete first-timers looking to take ski & snowboard lessons, a heads up that your lesson experience may not be as good as taking them in more established resorts such as Niseko. There are generally less fluent english speaking instructors available and lessons are limited to mainly 1 ski slope, so this might limit how much of Myoko you can explore.

Ski destinations each day will be scheduled as indicated in our trip itinerary. However, the itinerary is not fixed and might change it in the event of bad weather or to suit the group’s general ability. Our team experts will decide on the best ski destinations each day. If you wish to make alternative plans from the group, you will be responsible for your own transport arrangements.

Everything you need can be rented or bought in Myoko. While the options are not as vast as in more developed ski resorts such as Niseko, there are a handful of retail and rental shops covering all the equipment you will need. We will assist you with this upon booking with us.

BREAKFAST: Quick and easy meals in our lodge before we head off to the slopes each morning. We will take you to local convenience stores in advance to grab all you want to satisfy your breakfast needs

LUNCH: We will introduce you to the famous eats around each ski resort and it will be your choice to select what you have for the day.

DINNER: We have curated a list of Myoko’s most sought after and value for money restaurants. While restaurant variety and options are limited, there are still a handful of mouthwatering local spots we look forward to taking you to. While staying with the group is recommended, you may arrange your own meals if preferred.

A comprehensive packing list will be sent to each guest prior the trip to ensure that you are fully prepared for your ski holiday. All items may be purchased or rented at the ski resort.

Yes, there will be a meet up for all our travelers prior to the trip. It will be the perfect time to get to know each other, clear any queries or doubts, share experiences and get psyched for the trip we have all been waiting for!

We will do our best to cater to such arrangements upon your request. Feasibility of such arrangements will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis. Do check with us on the possibility of such an arrangement before you make a reservation.

Flights should be made to Tokyo and arrive at either Narita (NRT) or Haneda (HND) Airport. Arrival should be on Day 1 of your trip date, while departure should be made on Day 8 of your trip. (I.e. For Week 1:  4 – 11 Jan, flights should be scheduled to arrive on 4th Jan and depart on 11th Jan). We request all guests to be responsible for their own flight bookings.

You have 2 options to get to Myoko Kogen:

  1. Airport Shuttle (Most convenient, direct shuttle 5.5hrs)
Nagano snow shuttle bus runs from both Narita and Haneda airports direct to Myoko Kogen. This is the most convenient option requiring no changes at all throughout the journey. We recommend this direct option if you have alot of luggage with you.
  2. Train (Much quicker but with 3 train changes, 3+hrs)
  • Airport to Tokyo/Ueno Station
    • From Narita: Train to Ueno Station
    • From Haneda: Monorail to Tokyo Station
  • Tokyo/Ueno station to Nagano Station
    • Via Shinkansen
