OPEN POSITIONS
Snow Retail Associate (Full-Time / Part-Time)
We are looking for energetic, responsible people to join our retail team! Your main role will be to recommend and fit riders with their ideal snowboard set up!
IF YOU ARE:
Keen to join us to share the stoke of snowboarding with more people in Singapore! An outgoing & responsible person looking to share expertise and serve customers with a variety of snowboard brands. You look forward to interacting with customers and are passionate about sharing your interest and knowledge in snowboarding.
Responsibilities
- Recommend the best snowboard set up based on the individual’s needs
- Snowboard boot and bindings fittings
Processing sales of store products and wax-tune services - Offering recommendations & advice to customers (Training provided)
- Assembling snowboard set up (Training provided)
- Snowboard boot liner heat moulding (Training provided)
- Responsible for store opening and closing procedures
- Assist in store set up for the new season & perform routine stock checks
- Tidying of store and maintaining store cleanliness
- Keep up to date with latest gear and sport developments in snowboarding
- Attend training sessions whenever required
- Know that we have numbers to hit, but you do it naturally with your advice and patience
- Optional: Assist in wax and tuning of customer’s skis and snowboards (Training provided)
- Assembling skateboard set up (Training provided)
- Recommend Surfboards / surf products based on the individual’s needs (Training Provided)
Skills, Knowledge & Experience
- Experience in snowboarding and/ or skiing is a must
- Strong work ethic and team player
- Willingness to learn
- You are excited to share your knowledge with anyone that walks into the store
- Customer service is second nature to you.
- If it means explaining even the simplest questions, you will do it with a smile.
- Experience in ski/ snowboard retail will be a plus
Requirements
- 18 years & above
Singaporean/ PR - Fluent in English and Chinese
- Be willing to work on weekends
- Possess integrity, honesty, time management and superb work ethic
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Well versed in snowboard and/or ski brands and technical product knowledge
Coachable and willing to learn - Experience with snowboarding
- Understand that everyone starts out new in their snowboarding journey – there is no room for discrimination here!
Work Arrangement & Remuneration
- Part Time & full time basis available
- Part time: able to commit to at least 24 hours a week and on weekends
